Getting started
Quickstart
From a fresh iPhone to its first post. The app's Setup page walks you through the same steps, iPhone by iPhone, and checks each one for you.
Before you start
- An iPhone that stays with the farm, with the apps you post to.
- A Mac, to install the companion on each iPhone and to capture screens.
- A Swipe Pilot plan: open the app and sign in with Whop.
Set up an iPhone
Install the companion and link the iPhone
During early access the companion is installed from your Mac with Apple developer signing, which needs Developer Mode on the iPhone. Then, in the app, open Setup and click Connect an iPhone: scan the QR code that appears with the companion.
Turn on Voice Control
On the iPhone, open Settings, Accessibility, Voice Control, and turn it on. The first time, tap Set Up Voice Control and finish the setup. Leave it on while tasks run: the microphone icon shows in the status bar.
Install the first script
Click Send the first script next to the iPhone. It is laid out for that iPhone's screen: the companion puts it in its Swipe Pilot folder and opens Settings. Go to Accessibility, Voice Control, Commands, scroll to the bottom and tap Import Custom Commands; search for
swipepilotand tap the first file. Then return to the companion and double-tap its large centre box to confirm. From then on, the iPhone imports every other script by itself with its commandalpha voice control import(with your iPhone's name).Add the base setup of its screen size
In Swipe Pilot for Mac, open Screens & zones and capture the screen the companion opens in Settings: its zones are placed for you. Sync it with your workspace and check the zones in the app.
Add your accounts
Open iPhones and add each account under the iPhone it is signed in on, with its profile picture so you recognise it.
Run a first post
Open Calendar, choose New post, pick the account, add the photos or the video and write the caption. Post now, or Schedule it. Keep the companion open on the iPhone: iOS does not let it work in the background.
After the first post
A post counts as done when the iPhone confirms the end of its script, with the double tap after its Post step. The Dashboard shows, for each iPhone, what it is doing and what it has finished, and flags any run to check.
